Product Overview
The 1794-AENT is a Flex I/O communication adapter from Allen-Bradley. It connects a Flex I/O rack to an Ethernet network. This device supports the Ethernet/IP protocol. It allows up to eight I/O modules to be installed. The adapter uses a single RJ45 port. Communication speed is 10/100 Mbps.

Installation & Maintenance Guide
Mount the adapter on a DIN rail. Connect power using stranded copper wire. Torque terminal screws to 0.8 Nm (7 lb-in). Use wire insulation rated 75 °C or higher. Ensure maximum insulation thickness of 1.2 mm. Set network address via thumbwheel switches or DHCP. Default switch setting is 999. Connect an RJ45 cable to the Ethernet port. The module supports up to eight Flex I/O modules.
