Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 1785-L80E is a powerful PLC5 programmable logic controller. It handles large automation tasks with ease. This controller provides 100K words of user memory. It supports up to 3072 I/O points in any mix. The 1785-L80E uses a 1770-XYC battery module for memory backup. You can also add memory modules like 1785-ME16, 1785-ME32, 1785-ME64, or 1785-M100. Its embedded ports include one Ethernet, two DH+/Remote I/O, and one serial port. These ports enable flexible communication. The controller operates in 0 to 60 °C temperatures. It meets shock and vibration standards. This makes it reliable for demanding environments.
Application Scenarios
The 1785-L80E fits large industrial applications. Use it for discrete and analog control. It supports PID algorithms for process control. This controller manages distributed I/O systems. It works with 1771 I/O chassis and modules. Applications include manufacturing, material handling, and assembly lines. The controller handles up to 93 I/O racks. It can control up to 32 remote I/O chassis per link. Ideal for complex automation with high I/O counts.
