The 1762-OF4 is a high-performance analog output module from the Allen-Bradley MicroLogix family. It features four single-ended channels configurable for voltage (0-10VDC) or current (4-20mA) outputs. The module uses an R-2R ladder digital-to-analog converter with 12-bit unipolar resolution, ensuring precise signal generation. It is designed to drive modulating actuators, variable frequency drives, dampers, and other industrial devices. The 1762-OF4 is compatible with MicroLogix 1100, 1200, and 1400 programmable logic controllers.

Application Scenarios

This output module is ideal for applications requiring analog signal control. Installation & Maintenance Guide

Mount the module horizontally on a well-grounded metal panel or DIN rail. Ensure the mounting surface is grounded to avoid electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage. Use Belden 8761 shielded cable for analog wiring. Follow ESD prevention guidelines during handling. No additional grounding connections are needed if the surface is properly grounded. The module is compatible with MicroLogix 1100 (up to 4 modules), MicroLogix 1200 (up to 6 modules), and MicroLogix 1500 (up to 7 modules). Do not exceed the specified load ranges: current output resistive load 0-500Ω, voltage output load >1kΩ, reactive load <0.1mH (current) or <1µF (voltage).
