Product Overview
The 1794-IE8 is a Flex I/O analog input module from Allen-Bradley. It has eight single-ended input channels. These channels accept voltage or current signals. You can use ranges like 0-20mA, 4-20mA, +/-10VDC, and 0-10VDC. This module works with Flex I/O communication adapters. It mounts on terminal bases such as 1794-TB2, -TB3, and -TB3S. The module is part of a distributed I/O architecture. It receives signals from field transmitters and process loop controllers. The 1794-IE8 uses successive approximation conversion. It provides 16-bit data in two's complement format. Resolution is 12 bits unipolar and 11 bits plus sign bipolar. The module does not need calibration.

Application Scenarios
This module fits many industrial automation tasks. Use it to monitor analog sensors in a plant. Connect it to pressure transmitters or temperature probes. It can interface with flow meters and level sensors. The 1794-IE8 is common in process control systems. It also works in machine monitoring applications. You can use it in remote I/O racks. It supports both current and voltage signals. This flexibility makes it suitable for various industries.
