Product Overview
The 1794-AENTR from Allen-Bradley is a Flex I/O communication adapter. It mounts on a DIN rail and features two Ethernet ports. These ports support up to 8 I/O modules. The adapter enables connection to a central Ethernet controller. It supports 10/100 Mbps communication rates. Power requirements range from 19.2 to 31.2 VDC. The 1794-AENTR uses EtherNet/IP protocol. It works with both linear and ring topologies for high availability.

Application Scenarios
This adapter fits in industrial automation systems. It is ideal for remote I/O applications. Use it in manufacturing, process control, and material handling. It supports Device Level Ring (DLR) networks. This ensures reliable data communication even if one path fails. The 1794-AENTR is suitable for environments with moderate vibration and shock.
